My specialties include

Working with individual adults and young adults who:

  • think of themselves as highly sensitive and/or “shy” and feel easily overwhelmed by the world
  • struggle with shame, self judgment, feelings of low self worth
  • have abuse, neglect or trauma histories
  • experience depression or anxiety
  • struggle with body image issues and issues related to food

Working with children and teens recovering from loss, abuse, neglect or, who are going through difficult transitions such as divorce

Experience

For the past 10 years I have developed a broad variety of experience, including working in community mental health with both seriously mentally ill adults and foster children with a history of abuse and/or neglect.  I currently work with individual adults, teens and children in my private practice as well as supervise therapists in training at a community mental health agency.
